LISC website going online!
Up until now, you've only seen a pre-registration form and the PDF version of the first LISA newsletter. Starting today, Monday 19 June 2006, we will begin to bring the full content of the LISC website online.
LISC website content will go online step-by-step over the next days. We are starting with news features - more precisely, with the news item you're reading right now. The news items are meant to keep you up-to-date with what's happening concerning LISA and LISA-related physics.
Our list of LISA links, and the first parts in our collection of LISA resources, as well as a page on LISA advocacy and outreach, will follow in due course.
As a last step, we will open up the discussion boards. Those of you who have already registered as LISC members will receive per e-mail an invitation to complete your registration - mainly, this will involve choosing a user name and a password, and once that is done you will be all set to participate in the online discussions!
Of course, a website such as this is never complete. Our team of editors is poised to add more material to the initial version, and if you have good recommendations for introductory LISA material, or images/animations for our "LISA resources" section, we would of course like to hear from you! You can reach us via our contact form or under info@lisa-science.org.
