last modified 2007-08-20 19:41

The LISA International Science Team will meet in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, on 11-12 September 2007, to discuss the technical, scientific, and programmatic status of the mission.

The LISA International Science Team (LIST) consists of 15 members from the US and 15 from Europe. It is led by the US and European LISA Mission Scientists, Tom Prince and Karsten Danzmann. The LIST meeting will be preceded by a day of Working Group meetings. The agenda includes:
  • A review of the mission's science requirements and their relation to required mission and instrument characteristics and, ultimately, to mission cost;
  • A recap of the recent technical meetings held to discuss payload architecture;
  • A discussion of the soon-to-be-released Beyond Einstein Program Advisory Committee (BEPAC) report.
